Saddlehorn Real Estate and Homes

Saddlehorn is an absolutely beautiful 500 acre master planned community beneath ArrowCreek with 50  acres of common space and 5 miles of walking trails. The community was originally developed about 12 years ago and was designed for custom home sites ranging from about 2/3 acre to 1 acre parcels. The prices start in the 700’s and go into the high million plus. This is a really nice neighborhood, large winding streets, gorgeous landscaped properties, lots of open space and wildlife. The developers mascot is a Quail and there are lots of them. Lots are rare but do come on the market, usually starting at 150K if you can find one. Neighborhood amenity is a lovely park with playground. Approximately 350 homes presently in the development. A family friendly community with miles of walking trails and a quick access to the Whites creek trail which meanders up towards the Mt Rose  and Toiyabe National forest.  Saddlehorn was developed by Sam Jaksick in 1989 who then developed Montreux Golf and Country club in 1997  with its Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf course which boasts in own PGA tournament.

Saddlehorn is just 25 minutes from Lake Tahoe and a mere 15 minutes to the Reno/Tahoe International Airport.  Just a few miles to the Summit Shopping Center and 15 minutes to mid town Reno.  Raley’s supermarket and Saint Mary’s urgent care are about 4 miles from Saddlehorn.
